The Judging Process

Judging will take place in May  2009.

The judging panel has been selected to give an impartial, professional and wide-ranging level of expertise and is assembled exclusively from leading Healthcare organisations and top business school academics. Click here to view our 2009 judges.


The marketing awards will be judged on the entry submission of between 1500 and 3000 words and supporting evidence. The following judging criteria will be applied:

  • Clarity of objectives
  • A well defined marketing strategy
  • Effective resource allocation
  • The quality of implementation
  • Customer / patient focus
  • Innovation
  • Impact on customer perceptions
  • Evaluation criteria
  • Results
  • Overall marketing effectiveness

The sales awards entries will be assessed individually by the judges, and shortlisted candidates will be expected to attend a panel interview to be held in May 2009. Each award will be judged according to its own criteria.
