Reed Business Information Pty Ltd (ACN 000 148 921) of Level 4, 475 Victoria Avenue,  Chatswood NSW 2067 are the company behind the Prime Awards and we understand that privacy is important to you.
Innovex is also subject to the requirements of the National Privacy Principles (NPPs) which are contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) and which govern how private sector organisations handle personal information.  Personal information is basically information that can identify you.  In conjunction with any terms and conditions contained on www.primeawards.com.au and the Prime Awards Entry Form Guidelines, this Privacy Policy sets out the basis on which we collect, store, use and disclose personal information you provide in connection with the Prime Awards.  Please read it carefully.

1 Children

You must be at least 18 years old to register with us. We ask you not to register any of your details with us if you are under 18 years old. 

2 What Personal Information do we collect for the Prime Awards 

• when you use the Website, there are different ways that personal information about you is gathered by us and EventPro (who manage ecommerce facilities on the Website).
• when you register with us to buy tickets to the Prime Awards, we ask for information such as your name, business position, business telephone and fax numbers, email address and credit card details. 
• We keep a record of this information and any other information relating to you that we may obtain.  All this is necessary for us to recognise you, provide you with the services or information you have requested from us. 
• We also use this information to improve our platform and prevent or detect abuses of our Websites. 
• We keep a record of any electronic correspondence you send us.  This helps us keep track of any problems or concerns you've had with our Website or the Prime Awards.
• When you submit an entry to the Prime Awards via the Website, we may request contact information from you when you enter such as your name, business position, business telephone and fax numbers, email address and credit card details. We will use the information you provide to manage your entry in the Prime Awards and for other purposes to which you consent.
• When you use the Website to pay for tickets to the Prime Awards or to pay the entry fee for the Prime Awards, your payment information will only be used to check that it is a valid method of payment and to process your payment. No payment information is kept by us or EventPro other than to facilitate the provision of these services to you. 

Generally, all personal information is collected directly from you, or with your consent, and our policy is to collect only personal information that we need for a particular purpose in connection with the Prime Awards.

We will not collect sensitive information about you (such as details of your race, political beliefs, religion or health) without your consent.

3 How is Personal Information used?

All the information we collect via our Website or through correspondence with you is used to provide you with any information regarding the Prime Awards, facilitate the processing of ticket and entry fee payments and manage the operation of the Prime Awards.  We will use personal information about you for purposes such as:
managing the Website and access to it so it is presented in the most effective way for you and your computer;
dealing with orders for tickets and entry fee applications for the Prime Awards;
planning and managing our business activities in connection with the Prime Awards, including analysing users’ preferences;providing you with news regarding, and notifying you of any changes to, the Prime Awards and future Prime Awards.

4 Will Personal Information be given to anyone else?

In the circumstances described below, personal information you provide to us in connection with the Prime Awards may be disclosed to others.

4.1 Processing of payments
When you purchase a ticket to the Prime Awards or pay to enter the Prime Awards, Personal information collected by us is disclosed to EventPro, our eCommerce provider, who assists us by processing your payment.  When we disclose personal information to EventPro we take takes steps to ensure that EventPro:
comply with the NPPs when they handle your personal information; and
are authorised only to use personal information in order to provide the services or to perform the functions required by us.

4.2 Judging entries to the Prime Awards
By entering the Prime Awards you consent to us sharing your personal information submitted in connection with your entry with the judges of the Prime Awards.  Your personal information will only be used to manage your entry in the Prime Awards.  All judges are bound by a confidentiality agreement. 

4.3 Disclosures required by law
For legal reasons, other disclosures may need to be made to law enforcement agencies, government agencies, courts or external advisors or in accordance with other laws.  

4.4 Other disclosures
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to or with third parties.

5 Access and correction

Under the Privacy Act, you have a right to seek access to information which we hold about you (although there are some exceptions to this).  You also have the right to ask us to correct information about you which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
If you have questions about personal information relating to you or our Privacy Policy, wish to see all the information we have about you, correct any inaccuracies, change your options in relation to the information you wish to receive, or wish to change or update information we hold about you, please contact our Privacy Office (details at point 9 (Contacting Us) below).
Any access request may be subject to a reasonable fee to meet our costs in providing these details.

6 Is Personal Information stored safely?

We take reasonable steps to ensure the security of personal information held by us from such risks as loss or unauthorised access, destruction, use, modification or disclosure. 

7 Cookies and Analysis Tools

Sometimes we may generate statistics about how many people visit our site and what they look at.  We use web logs and cookies to do this.  This enables us to keep our site relevant and useful.  Generally the information we collect and use about website usage will not identify you, only the computer you are using.  Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies.  However, if you do not wish to receive cookies you may set your browser to either refuse cookies or prompt you before accepting them.
